I’ve added a calendar block to the homepage but the dates on the calendar that have events are not highlighted like the calendar on the Programs page. Can you please tell me how to do this?
Thanks,
Kristen

Hi Kristen,
I’m just writing to let you know that we’ve been made aware of the issue, and we’re looking into it now. It looks like the Calendar block that’s displaying improperly is the wrong type of calendar block, but it’s not clear why it’s displaying as the wrong type.
I’ll let you know as soon as we’ve determined the cause of the issue.
Best,
-Zach

Hello,
I was just wondering if there was any update with the calendar issue. The correct calendar block now appears on the home page but not the Programs page.
Also, does this issue affect how the calendar will appear on a mobile device? When looking at our homepage, only about half the calendar is visible.
One more calendar question….when you switch to a different month, is there anyway to remain in the same spot on the page? When you switch months now, you are brought back up to the top of the page and have to scroll back down to the calendar.
Thanks!

Hi Kristen,
I’m sorry we’ve gone so long without giving you an update. We determined that the issues you are experiencing with the calendar blocks (both the days with events not appearing highlighted on the calendar, and the calendar that DID highlight days being nonresponsive and appearing cut off on mobile devices) are bugs with the 2016 YaleSites themes and not caused by the user, and we have passed the details about these bugs to the Engineering team. They will be investigating the issue going forward, but I should be able to update you when I have more information to share. I’m sorry that this issue has persisted for so long.
As for the issue about switching months sending you back to the top of the page, it seems to me that since a new page is loaded when you make that switch, there is likely no way to retain your position on the page.
Let me know if you need any clarification on anything,
