Help with Footnotes module

I enabled the Footnotes module, and followed the instructions to enable it in the CKEditor and place the Footnotes button into the toolbar (btw, the JQuery version needs to be 1.7 otherwise the drag & drop in the CKEditor toolbar settings doesn’t work). I also enabled Footnotes tags <fn> in Filtered HTML settings. However, it still seems to be stripping the <fn> tags when I insert footnotes. Can you help?

Hi Alina,

The fn tag needed to be added to the Filtered Text Format, HTML WYSIWYG filter. This is the place that indicates which HTML elements are allowed for the various text formats. I added it and it’s working now. I added a footnote at the beginning of the second paragraph so you can see it’s working.
