Full Width on Homepage

Hello,

I created a full-width Delta per the instructions listed here: https://yalesites.yale.edu/book/making-page-full-width

It works well on each page…except the homepage. I added <front> per the instructions, but it is not reflected on the homepage. 

When I delete specific blocks in the main content section, it does make it the page full-width, but removes any margins, editing capabilities, etc.

Any suggestions on displaying the homepage as a full-width page (similar to all other pages)?
