Format title field in Staff and Board content pages

I used my own content types for creating my Staff and Board listings rather than using People/Users, and as this is a rather static list and works pretty well, I would prefer not to have to move them.

The one small change I would like to make is to improve the look of the final landing page for all Staff and Advisory Board members. Currently the title (position) field shows up right above the bio information with no space and no formatting. I do not know how to change this. I think ideally, I’d like the title to show up as H3, then there’s a space, and then the bio begins.

I’m happy to make the changes if you can tell me how to do it. Or if it’s easier for you to do it, please let me know how you did.

Many thanks!

Hi, Devon:

I made the changes you requested above, using Display Suite and a little html. It’s a little complicated, so I just did it. The only thing that I did differently is I used h2 tags for accessibility reasons instead of the h3 you requested. Tags should be used in numerical order on a page so a screen reader can interpret the information correctly. So because the page title is h1, the next title in the hierarchy needs to be h2. I think it looks nice, but let me know your thoughts.

Let me know if the changes are to your liking.

Best regards,

Carris

Thank you, Carris. I think it looks great and I am grateful for the help!
