Faculty publications block

I’d like to configure the faculty publications currently displayed in a row of four across the home page to display one at a time as a rotating feature at the botton of the second sidebar of the home page. I created a block but am not sure how to create/revise the Views to show one image with title and author name only. I’d like the book cover to rotate vertically, downward.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
