Hiya folks:
Our home page uses an external data feed to display “today’s hours”. The external data changes every night. However, nothing triggers Drupal to clear the cache for the home page when the data changes. We’ve had a problem where incorrect hours are displayed because they’re still cached.
My solution to this was to reduce the Home » Administration » Configuration » Development » Performance Expiration of cached pages setting to one hour instead of one day. However, no matter what I set Expiration of cached pages to, it always defaults back to “1 day”. I’ve searched through the web and this forum but I didn’t find anything relevant to my problem.
Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Best regards,
–steve
Hello Steve,
I can take a look at the import to see why it wont refresh. Can you grant me access to the site?

Done. You’re in.

Hello Steve,
I’ve enabled Load block via AJAX in Ajax Settings for the block. This should load the info inside the block after page load. It should fix the problem. Know that if this does not resolve the issue, then it might have to do with the PHP code, which we wouldn’t be able to support. Let me know if this works.

Thanks, Josue. We’ll keep our eye on it.
Thanks again, and best regards,
