Error Message for New CAS user

Hi - 

I added one of our Senior Admins to be an editor on the site lc464 and when she tries to login she gets the following error message: “A new account could not be created for lc494. The username is already in use on this site”

Not sure how to resolve that. Thank you for the help.

This is because there are duplicate accounts for lc464. I’ve removed the duplicate. Can you have her try logging in using CAS?

The problem was that she was added with the wrong NetID of lc464. That entry had her email tied into it and the role of editor assigned to it. When she tried her NetID & PW, the system rejected her because there was another user with her email. I deleted both and readded her. You should be all set moving forward.
