Editing Webpage - no edit button

I’m not sure if we ever had a list of people on this page, but I need to be able to add people here.  It doesn’t give me the Edit button as it does on other pages (like here: http://egcenter.economics.yale.edu/visitors - not sure if you can tell on your end).  How can I add info/people to that page?

Hi Lindsay, 

The page you are seeing is a View display. People are added to the page by adding people individually and tagging them with the correct people type. Instructions for how to add people can be found on the following page Adding People. Once you have added people, they will automatically show up on the list. 

This type of information is covered in a YaleSites Editor class; this might be helpful to provide a broader understanding of how content is managed on a YaleSite. You can find YaleSites classes listed at http://yalesites.yale.edu/calendar.

I think maybe I did not word my question properly.  I need to update the website and by adding people I mean that I need to list visitors on the Visitor website.  I don’t need to add CAS users, etc.  I just need the ability to Edit the page and add the information I need to add, but it doesn’t give me an edit option.

Hi Lindsay, as we discussed on the phone, I created a basic page with the people/visiting-faculty that overwrote the dynamic page. So you can now change the page content the way you would any other page.
