Editing Field Setting

We need to edit the residential college listing on this page and when I go into Content types » Residential Prizes » Manage fields » Residential College » it says There is data for this field in the database. The field settings can no longer be changed.

What exactly are you trying to change? If you click on the Edit tab you’ll be able to check if you want the field required or not, if you want a default value, and how many values you want a user to enter. But you won’t be able to change the taxonomy vocabulary because content for this vocabulary already exists, which means that field was filled in for the Residential College content type - Drupal won’t let you edit fields where content already exists and if you delete it then it will delete all existing content.

We need to be able to change the residential colleges that are listed. Is this possible?
Oh yes, you can edit the vocabulary itself here: https://secretary.yale.edu/admin/structure/taxonomy/residential and add/edit terms.
