Content types that allow authenticated users to submit/edit any content to be approved by designated users

Issue/Request: 

I am working on moving our site, lgbtq.yale.edu, to the newest YaleSites template (dev site: tst.lgbtq.yale.edu). I’d like to make it so that our ‘Resource’ and ‘All Gender Restroom’ content types can be created and edited by any authenticated CAS user and reviewed by any of my staff before being published. Would you recommend the Workflow and Rules moduels or the Workbench module?

Is it possible to restrict the visibility of certain fields to authenticated users?

Hi Andrew,

It looks like you have this configured with Access Control but how are users getting to the add node pages? You can add the paths for adding the nodes to the menu, or linking to the path https://tst.lgbtq.yale.edu/node/add/resource. Or an alternative option would be to use a webform instead.
