I am working on the Japan at the Crossroads site ( http://japan-crossroads.yale.edu/ ) and am having trouble with a piece of content that is appearing on the front page that is not supposed to be. I’ve commented on the front page where the text is and where it is coming from. I can’t figure out how to stop the welcome page text from appearing below the news content. If I un-publish the welcome page, then there is a line that appears “You are not authorized to access this page” in it’s place.

Thanks.

Hello Lisa,

Are you looking to reorder the way the show up or remove it all together?

Josue

Hi Josue :-) I don’t want that piece of content to appear on the front page at all.

Lisa.

Hi Lisa,

You can just edit the front page and remove the text since its a duplicate of the about page. You always want the /welcome enabled because its needed for the homepage since its set as the default.

Josue

wow. I knew it would be something easy like that. thanks! Lisa. :-)

You’re welcome.

Josue
