Content Deleted

Hi,

I attempted to add a menu item to the main menu. After figuring out how to do that, clicking on that menu item simply reveals a “Page not found” message. I tried to deal w/ this by adding a basic page to this link, but it seems like what I did was add a content type instead (under structure). After this had no effect, I deleted the content type. This has caused all the main content under my “Home” and “About us” page to vanish. Not really sure why that happened.

Could a previous version of the site be restored?
