Hi. Going into a meeting at 3 and I would really like to change the menu on my site (dev.growitsyouryale.yale.edu) to What Yale offers, Do it yourself and TMS. This means that the three that are up there have to go away. I don’t even need the links yet, just the words. Can you send me to the right place to do this?

Hi Linda,

You can change the menu options using the instructions for Working with Menus. If these are going to be pages, you should add the menu items as you create the pages on your site. (Add your page to a menu). You can create blank pages if you don’t have content.

To disable the menus items you don’t want to display, just uncheck the enable checkbox next to the item.

What if I’ve already created the pages that I want linked on the menu? Can I go into edit and go to menu settings?

Hello Linda,

There are a few articles in the How-To Guide which will help you work with your existing content. This link will help you add a page to the menu. This How-To shows you how to work with Menus. Pay close attention to the section midway called Adding a link to your menu.
