Categories feature with Events

Issue/Request:

On the Events page, we have pulled in Events from multiple places and felt using the Categories feature to tag events would be helpful since we had such a variety.

The number that appears in parenthesis after the different categories is misleading as it shows the total number of events tagged to that category, even if the event has passed. Is there anyway to have that number just reflect current and upcoming events? Or to remove the number completely?

Have you tried added another filter to the block view under Filter Criteria, one that uses the date, so that no past events are counted? If not, try this and let me know how it works out.

I tried to adjust the filter criteria but I somehow made the whole list of different tags disappear instead. Can you help me get it back? And which filter do I need to use to get just current and upcoming events?

Hi Kristen,

Have you looked for the block in the Blocks page under Structure? I don’t know which block you want back. There are a couple of View blocks that say Tags.
