Calendar Year View Overlaps Sidebar

Hello,

As you can see, the year view obstructs the left edge of the sidebar content. Assistance apprecxiated.

Also, can you assist with the setting that would address the distortion of the image block in the sidebar? It is elongated compared to the proper dimensions on the front page. http://sociology.yale.edu

Thank you much!

M

Update:

I don’t know if this is the preferred way to go about it, but I went ahead and created a second image block for the calendar page only.

It seems the calendar page config may be destined to affect all images in the sidebar unless I change the dimensions globally, so I thought this was a workaround. It requires a second image block and formatting, which is not efficient, but its what I came up with on the fly. Please let me know if there is a better way.

Thanks.

Hello Michael,

I’m looking into this bug.

Josue

Hello Michael,

It seems that this issue is caused when there are events every day of the week for a particular month. In this view when you add an event it creates a hyperlink which adds the theme adds padding to. This multiplied times 7 and repeated every month causes that padding to increase and make the Year View overlap. We are looking in implementing a patch for this bug. In the mean time I’ve added a CSS Injector Rule called “Year Calendar Fix”, which sets that padding to 0. I hope this helps.

Josue

Thank you Josue. I appreciate it.

Michael
