Calendar - remove filter options

Hi Nancy and Josue,

Sorry, Again I didn’t manage to find answers in the How To Guide nor in former posts of the forum, so again bugging you…
It is about our calendar page. We will (un?)fortunately not have so many events going on, that the filter option (upcoming/month/day/etcetera) is of any added value. In fact, it is not so pretty. How could I remove this?

Thanks for your help. I’ve got 2 issues, in the meantime.
 
1) Please see :
 
I would like to remove the filter options upcoming/month/day filter options (light blue blocks) since they are of no use and not so pretty.

2) And on the front / home page, quantuminstitute.yale.edu, where the news is, I don’t like how there are 3 words underneath the picture, Quanta, and would like to get rid of them. I already shortened the teaser from 600 to 550, but this doesn’t help. I also tried to make the picture larger, vertically, but this does not help either. But those two words “Machine…-..for” are very ugly placed. What should I do?

For the fist issue: I remove all the filter option you have in Calendar view (Upcoming event, Month, Week, Day, Year).

For the second issue: I get rid of the 3 words you have in the home news page, in the views>>body field I change the maximum length from 175 to 150.
