I am experiencing a glitch with my site not displaying our postdocs. You can see them if you click on “edit view” at the bottom but the “override page” is not working so that when we click it, it is also affecting the view on the ‘founders’ page and vice versa.

You should be all set, the issue was from “People Type” field not from the view. Go to Home » Administration » Configuration » People » Account settings » Manage fields » edit People Type field scroll down to “Allowed values list” (Predoct|Predoctoral Fellows- has been typed as a wrong value) it should typed as (Predoctoral Fellows|Predoctoral Fellows).
