Adding someone to the website

Hello,

I have added EALL’s first year student, Cheng Li (net ID: cl974, and email: cheng.li369@yale.edu), to the EALL website via “add CAS user(s)” and then tried to update his information like add his name, email and click on “graduate student” but when I click save, this comes up:

I then can’t add him.  Any ideas as to why this would come up even though I have added his email address?
