Adding a logo as a banner on site homepage

Hello, I am one of the administrators for our seminar’s website. We have created a logo image file that we would like prominently displayed on our YaleSite. In particular, we are hoping to erase the text generated title (in the Yale font) that sits on top of the navigation bar and replace it with our logo image file.

As you can see, I have been able to do this successfully for the other pages/tabs of the website, but not the primary home page.

The logo was previously displayed as a rotating header image, but has since disappeared. Is there any way to restore that feature?

Any help/input would be greatly appreciated.

I attempted to fix this by going into Appearance-Settings-Appearance and de-selecting “site name” from the toggle display, but this seems to have made no difference.

Is there a workaround?

Hi Andrew Vielkind,

It would be my pleasure to help you. I see that you  have disabled the site name on the other pages. To disable the site name in the home page please follow the next steps:

  • Appearance > click on Delta > choose your respective site’s theme and click on configure go to > toggle advance elements > disable site name > Save configuration

If by any chance these steps do not work, please add me as an administrator and I will take a look at it. My net ID is ar997.

Kind Regards,
