academic events calendar- problem updating page with next year’s calendar

We need to post a PDF of next year’s 2016-17 academic calendar on the current academic events calendar page, so that people can see next year’s academic calendar now. But we can’t seem to figure out how to edit that page, or to add a document to that page. I can edit the individual calendar entries but not how to edit the page characteristics or setup, or add a PDF to the right hand side menu as on other pages.

This academic calendar info is pretty static- it doesn’t change and we need to have one calendar year up at a time, with a way to see the next year. Is there a better way to format or present this than the way the page is structured now?
