Glitches Post-SSL Installation

Dear YaleSites Team,

Since the application of the SSL Installation (thank you for making the Center’s main site and extensions current with the looming Google Chrome standards) there are two glitches I’ve noticed when managing content on the backend of the Center’s Drupal site.

One–is that the automated notifications administrators and contributors receive via e-mail are one step behind in the internal review protocol. Example–if a node is saved for “content review” the e-mail notification will read “saved as draft,” and so on.

The other is that “un-publishing” nodes does not seem to remove them from public view at this time. I’ve had to delete a few insignificant nodes or creatively hide them within the system to remove their visibility.

Please attend to this request at your earliest convenience to minimize any confusion that my colleagues may have when working on content within the CAS. Many thanks, as always, for your team’s assistance in all things Drupal-based.

Best, Ronnie

Hi Ronnie,

I tested out unpublishing content and it does clear the external cache out immediately. Can you provide an example to reproduce the issue you are having?

The SSL change should not be related to the issue you are having with the notification emails. Can you provide detailed steps to reproduce this one as well? Thanks.
