Problems with Drupal 7 Feed Importers

Issue/Request: 

It appears there is a problem with the drupal 7 feed importers where null dates are imported with (now) date, even if the date field has no default value set. 

It seems to require a patch related to this problem. see - https://www.drupal.org/node/523218

Also, I am having difficulty importing an entity reference using the feeds importer to import an entity reference using either text or nid.

There is a module, but not sure if you want to add it?

Not sure if you have a better ideas or options for working around these problems, but I am all ears.

Hello Jason,

The site documents.law.yale.edu is in Drupal 6 so that means that Updates and patches would probably no longer be available. I’ll escalate this to the engineering team to take a look. What is the particular Feed Importer that is having the issue?

Yes, but the site I am moving too, dev.documents.law.yale.edu is Drupal 7 and that’s where the Feeds problems are. 

Any ideas on that?

Hey Jason,

I noticed the site’s drupal core version was pretty old (7.18). I just updated it to the latest version. Can you five it a go and let me know if you still encounter the same issues?
