Acquia Remote Administration (RA) Email

Hi,

I just received an email from support@acquia.com requesting that we test security updates deployed to a new “RA [remote administration] branch” per https://docs.acquia.com/ra/security-update-process#one. 

As a maintainer of custom YaleSites, we update modules from the upstream D7 branch.

Is there a new module update procedure in place? Or, should I ignore the email from Acquia?

If the former, please advise us regarding the new update procedures.

Hello Mike,

There are just notifications that come from Acquia to take advantage of the auto-update feature. Its one we really dont use. It is a feature that we have asked to be turned off in bulk to all our sites. We are waiting for them to process this for us. You can ignore these emails for now.
