I’m having some difficulty getting the publication module to work. I’d like for it to automatically pull all publications for the lab (under the lab PI’s name). I enabled the feature as the guide instructed, but I seem to have missed a step, because the page remains blank.

If you are referring to the Biblio Module, then unfortunately that module is extremely outdated and has not been maintained by the Drupal community in years. What we recommend doing is to create a Custom Content Type and add the publications individually. Unfortunately it wont bring in the publications automatically, but it will be more functional.
