FAQ access control

Hello,

We are using the FAQ Module on our site but have noticed that it is inaccessible to people in the role of Summer Staff even though Summer Staff should be able to view content according to Access Control. Could you please help us solve this issue? It is rather time sensitive as we would like to launch the website this week.

Hi Michelle,

I checked another permission and it seems to work correctly for the Summer Staff now. Could you please check the access and make sure that my permission change didn’t affect some other area it shouldn’t. Let me know if the issue is resolved.

Thank you, yes it is working correctly now! For future reference, could you please let me know what change you made? Additionally, I notice that the FAQ page is the only one that shows up in the menu when first accessing the site (it is blocked to anyone who is not listed as a user on the site, so all links are hidden). The actual content is blocked, which is good; however, it would be ideal if the link did not appear on this page. Is there a way to fix that? Thanks!

I checked another permission box for that page, see below:

The View FAQ pages was not checked for the Summer Staff.

Also, please post a separate forum question about the FAQ menu item showing up.
