Issue/Request:
Hi YaleSites,
I’ve created a new Content Type, Virtual Tour, and have not had any issues manipulating the overall look and feel of the node, but I’ve had trouble creating a Block and View specific to that Content Type that will be visible within the site’s exhibition views. Their is only one Virtual Tour at this time, but I want the new Content Type to be visible in the sidebar second submenu in all exhibitions it will apply to in the future. I’ve drafted a Block and View for the Virtual Tour, but they do not seem to be cooperating. The site I am working on is highly customized and the tutorials have not helped me resolve this issue. Please advise.
Many thanks.
The URL I would like this new Virtual Tour to populate the sidebar second menu is the following: http://britishart.yale.edu/exhibitions/poet-them-all-william-shakespeare…
I stress that I want the option for future Virtual Tours to populate the sidebar second menu for any applicable exhibitions past, present, or future, similar to how Selected Works and Publications submenu items populate the sidebar second menu block in all of the exhibitions on the Center’s website.
Hi Ronnie,
I will take a look at this and get back to you as soon as I have something for you.
Best regards,
Carris
Hi Ronnie,
What is the name of the View that you drafted for the Virtual Tour Content type? I don’t see it in the Views listing.
When you say that you want the Virtual Tour to populate the Sidebar Second, like Selected Works and Publication, you are just looking for a link that says “Virtual Tour” in the sidebar, correct?
Thanks for the clarifications.
Best regards,
Carris
