Issue/Request:

I have the People view set to sort the list by last name (ascending), but many names are out of order.

I am trying to get it so that each person is listed properly within their department (“people type”) and within that sorted alphabetically by last name. The listing within department is working perfectly, but I can’t get the alphabetization to work.

Hi, Mark:

Both myself and Josue took a look at this issue. We suspect that it might be a bug. I will let you know if it is a bug and must be escalated to the engineering team, or if it is and issue that is fixable.

We are presently looking into it the cause of the issue.

Hi, Mark:

It was not a bug, luckily. There was a conflict with the default sort that was under:

People Page View > Format > Settings > here the radio button for default sort was checked for the People Type. Somehow it was affecting the sort. I also had to add another sort filter under Sort Criteria in the View. Looks correct to me now. Please take a look and make sure that it looks fine to you too.
