Export/Import content type/view

Issue/Request:

Hello Carris,

I have tried to do the ‘content type’ & ‘view’ export/import for the publication page per our discussion and got stuck with the import ‘view’ part.

I received error messages and not sure what to do next.

Goal:

To create ‘publication’ page by using export/import ’content type’ and ‘view’ functions.

I’ll give the export a shot tomorrow and see how it goes. If it works ok, I will import and let you know the results. No worries, we will figure this out.

I got it. I re-exported the correct ‘content type’ and ‘view’. It’s good now.

But how can I cancel the incorrect/un-used ‘content type’ and ‘view’?

Hi, Nuch:

I am glad that you got it to work.

Just go in and delete the wrong one. Here is how: Structure > Content Types > scroll to the one you want to delete and click delete. BUT make sure you have the correct one. Once it is gone, its gone. Same procedure with the View, go to Structure > Views > scroll to the one you want to delete, click the down arrow on the Edit button and choose delete. BUT make sure you have the correct one. Once it is gone, its gone.
