Taking down a website

Hi,

I am the co-president of the South Asian Society. We created a new website for our organization this year (using Yale CampusPress), but unfortunately cannot take down the old one (using Yale Sites). Therefore, when “South Asian Society” is googled, the old website comes up but the new one does not. Is there a way to remove the old website?

Hello Kanan,

This site is in the deletion list which will be processed shortly over the next few weeks. Once the site has been deleted it will slowly disappear from the search results since it will no longer be indexed by Google.
