Hi, I’ve never seen this happen before. On this page: http://dev.communications.yale.edu/media/yale-medical-experts please see the text that falls directly under the ‘Search by Area of Expertise’ search criteria pulldown menu, “Leave blank for…”. That line of text is informational text that is included in the filter configuration set up. I’ve never seen it pulled into the page display before. Why is it being pulled in? How can it be turned off other than with hiding it with CSS?

Please DO NOT change any view configs. If you have to, please clone this working view and then change whatever settings to work out the problem.

Thanks so much!

Jo

This must be some default text that has been added to the Views module or Taxonomy. I added some CSS to have it not display. Hide description in exposed filter

Thanks, Josue. That text wasn’t just added; it has always been part of the Views module since D6. This is the first time I’ve seen it get pulled in to a filter set up. Just wanted to let you know this isn’t something that was just added. I was curious to see why it was pulled in.

Thanks!

Thanks JoAnn.
