I am changing the “our people” page on my website. Currently, it’s a static page: http://yins.yale.edu/our-people
I am building a new page with the people widget: http://yins.yale.edu/people
I would like to upload an image to all the individual people listings. The images already exists on the server (on the /our-people page). When I click on “upload” the system will not allow me to draw image content from the site server; it only allows me to upload a new file. That’s silly. Is there any way around this issue? It seems ridiculous to upload every image twice.

Unfortunately the images need to be uploaded individually for the people feature. The way the People Feature is built, it wont allow you to map to another directory to pull the field. When the site was build, they put all the images within the body of the content, which limited the use of the images. By uploading the images directly into the people profile page, you will then be able to pull all that data through views and have more display options.
