how do i access a site that is in development?

Hi Marwa,

I was able to log into the “cie-dev.research.yale.edu” page but I do not see the Administrator’s toolbar or a way to navigate into the “/epr-database” page.  Does this mean that the Administrator of the “cie” group has to grant me access to the “/epr-database” page?

Hi,

I am beginning to work on a dev site that was created by someone else.  I have the URL of the dev site, the username and the password.  I am assuming that I would just add “/login/” at the end of the URL to access the site.  But it doesn’t work.  Is there another path I should use to access the site?  below is an example of what I am talking about:

Hi Esther,

  • Access your site through following URL:yoursitename.sites.yale.edu/cas oryoursitename.yale.edu/cas (replacing  yoursitename with the name of your department or organization).
  • Enter your Yale NetID and password in the CAS login screen.
  • You will be returned to your site and should see the black Administrator’s toolbar across the top of the page.
